Our Goal: A World without Violence.
Ending “Violence Against Women is a top priority of Moravian women throughout the Moravian Unity. The Unity Synod of the Worldwide Moravian Church has repeatedly called for all congregations in all provinces to speak out against gender-based violence and to work to end violence against girls and women. When it established the Unity Women’s Desk in 2011, the Unity Synod assigned the Unity Women’s Desk the special responsibility of documenting the steps each province has taken toward this goal and publishing a report on progress made. A key step in this process is providing education for pastors regarding violence against women.
