March 2023: Moravian Stars in March: Women who inspire.

The Unity Women’s Desk has installed purple (for justice) and green (for hope) Moravian Stars on the Old Salem Pedestrian Bridge. The stars were given by the Herrnhut Star Company to support our work to empower girls and women, assembled by a team of volunteers (including the Salem Academy Honor Society) and installed by our friend Sergio Mendez.

The Stars were hung on March 8 for International Women’s Day and will remain until April 11. The stars represent women who inspire us to work for justice and who bring hope to our local and global communities.
